Building an AI-native design system
It is easy to generate experiences; staying inside a brand and a system as they grow is the hard part. So I built a foundation an agent can work with. Claude Design drives the role-named semantic tokens, and Claude Code compiles that contract into CSS variables and a typed export, so there is no drift between design and code.
What makes it AI-native is that the contract is machine-readable end to end. An agent can read it, change it, and verify its own work, and CI fails on a raw hex in the semantic layer or contrast below AA, so the system protects itself.
That is also what lets it scale. I started small with one accent rule: accent is a function of temperature, interpolated across five degrees-anchored stops. Because every component reads color by role, the same architecture can grow into something much bigger. Start small, stay coherent, scale on a contract.
