I led UX strategy and execution to embed Prizeout—a gift card marketplace—into the Tapcheck platform. This initiative was a critical sales unlock for a major enterprise client with over 100,000 employees, requiring a scalable and intuitive purchase flow using users’ existing Tapcheck balance.

Reducing physical credit card program costs through refined user flows

Quick summary

Many of our credit cards were going to waste, either by non delivery of the card (wrong address, changed address, etc.) and we were absorbing the cost. We needed to create a plan to reduce our card (plastic) costs.

As the Product Designer embedded on the Card Team, I led UX strategy, prototyping, and design refinement to reduce physical credit card program costs. The objective was to minimize card waste by refining the user experience around card issuance and delivery—while improving delivery success and maintaining access for users who rely on physical cards.

Our add account flow was seeing significant dropoff in account creation.

I led a 2-week sprint to streamline the “Add Account” flow, addressing drop-off caused by outdated verification and poor communication with our users. Improvements included on screen bank account validation, google address autocomplete and places API, modular entry points, and timely Braze notifications to boost success rates.

Refining admin tools to make our agents more efficient

Quick summary

Our add account flow was seeing significant dropoff in account creation.

I led a few day collab with CS and Product team to refine a tool that our CS agents use frequently, the mission here was optimize the sync hr process to bring transparency to comparing and syncing records for our CS agents. Currently it wasn't a confident process, nor a process that was efficient for our agents. The initial scope of the project was extremely minor, but we dug in, collaborated and built out a much better experience that heightens our security at the same time.

While there are many platforms focused on private messaging and link-based chat, most feel outdated and are built around basic text chat with minimal innovation. Although some modern solutions like audio-first platforms exist, they’re difficult to discover or not well-suited for the use case. Native app experiences also fall short, since the majority of Zoom users are desktop-based, making mobile-first approaches less relevant.

Users sometimes fear sharing a link from a new URL (without image media)

Most current frictionless / anonymous messaging experiences are generic (traditional messaging)

Voice chat isn’t universally preferred due to privacy concerns, mic access issues, and user discomfort
